Tayana Renay Richardson passed away peacefully September 17, 2026, in Kingston, Oklahoma. She was born March 17, 1962, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, and lived a life centered on family, friendship and the simple joys that brought her happiness.
A graduate of Maysville High School, Tayana was a homemaker whose care and devotion were reflected in the life she built around those she loved. Her family was her proudest accomplishment. She loved them deeply, and she treasured being with them. She was known for an ornery spirit that brought personality and spark to those around her. Tayana loved red birds, enjoyed going to Purcell Lake with her dog and especially cherished visiting with people, most of all her friends.
She is survived by her sons, Zach Richardson and Lovely of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Josh Richardson and Maisie of Duncan, Oklahoma; her brother, Robert Lee Stewart of Vega, Texas; her sisters, Amy Lance and Virginia Eldridge, both of Maysville, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Zander Richardson, Hailey Richardson and Maggie Richardson. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her with love.
Tayana was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lonzo Stewart; her mother, Amy (Lambert) Stewart; and her brothers, Charles Lonzo Stewart and James Stewart. She will be remembered for the love she gave her family, the conversations she shared with friends and the spirited way she moved through life. Her memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at First Assembly of God in Lindsay, Oklahoma, with Bro. Stan Ledford officiating. Burial followed at Erin Springs Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at winansfuneralhome.com.
