Araldo Hernandez, 23, of Wynnewood, Oklahoma was born into this life on February 12, 2001, to Melania Hernandez and Genaro Ponce Perez in Idabel, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on Sunday, June 16, 2024 in Pauls Valley with his family at his side. He spent most of his young life in Wynnewood, attending and graduating from Wynnewood High School as a proud Savage. Araldo worked for Kinard Painting & Sandblasting up until his passing.
Araldo had always been the life of the party ever since he was young. Everywhere he went he always brings a smile to people’s faces. He was a very big Mommas boy, anywhere he went you knew not to talk about his Mommas. He was a loving son, brother, fierce friend, great athlete, protected and all above all he was a man of God. He was a selfless man who put others above himself always. Araldo was our heart of gold and he will never be forgotten.
Araldo is survived by his parents, Melania Hernandez & Genaro Ponce Perez , as well as siblings; Gaudencio Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez and Mariela Ponce as well as a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, from 4-7 p.m. where a Catholic Mass will be held. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 21, at the First Baptist Church of Wynnewood at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood with services officiated by Rev. John Russell.
