Donald Kenneth Johnson

Donald Kenneth Johnson, of Pauls Valley, passed away August 22, 2026, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, at the age of 95 years.

Kenneth was born January 23, 1931, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Donald Kennedy and Viola Edith Tucker Johnson.

He was raised in the Klondike and Wynnewood area and is a graduate of Wynnewood High School. Kenneth is a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army where he earned the rank of Sergeant. During his tour of duty, he also earned the United Nations Service Medal; Korean Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars; National Defense Service Medal; and Good Conduct Medal.

Kenneth and Jo Darcus Pack were married February 17, 1953, in Gainesville, Texas. He worked as a Certified GM Auto Mechanic in Davis, Oklahoma. He loved being a mechanic and fixing things, as well as garage sales, dancing and music.

He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Kennedy and Viola Edith Johnson, and his wife, Jo Darcus Johnson.

He is survived by his children, Cindy and Rick Campbell of Pauls Valley; as well as Randy and Linda Johnson of Katie; one sister, Ruth Hollinger; three brothers, Charles Johnson, Bobby Johnson, and Ray Johnson; five grandchildren, Anje, Taner, Cole, Amanda and Rachel; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services with Military Honors will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Leon Sloan and Jack Pack. A private interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
