James A. Jarrels, of Elmore City, Oklahoma, was born July 20, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, to Ralph James Jarrels and Helen Marie (Lockhart) Jarrels, and passed away August 31, 2023, at the age of 68 years.
James married Teresa A. Perkins on October 7, 1972 in Tampa, Florida. During his adult life, James was a US Army Veteran, a truck driver, business owner, and security officer.
Predeceasing him were his parents, Ralph and Helen Jarrels; and brothers, Larry Jarrels and William Jarrels. Survivors include his wife, Teresa, of the home; children, Patrick J. Jarrels and Billea Jarrels, of Elmore City and Derek J. Jarrels of Gerradstown, West Virginia; brother, Paul Ralph Jarrels and Sherry Jarrels of Dayton, Ohio; sister, Nellie Jarrels-Taylor and Chris Taylor of Tip City, Ohio; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends made throughout the years.
A Memorial Service for James will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 in the Mount Olive & Calvary Cemeteries, Great Falls, Montana.
