Clara Sue Wigley, of Maysville, Oklahoma, was born November 10, 1947, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to R. L. and Avis (Broadhead) Luttrell. She passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, in Ardmore at the age of 74 years.
Clara was raised in Pauls Valley and graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1966. She married James Wigley on July 22, 1967. She worked for many years as a nurse’s aide in nursing homes. Clara loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them especially the grandchildren. She enjoyed going dancing every Saturday night and listening to music. She also enjoyed growing rose bushes and loved her dogs. Clara will be greatly missed by her family.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James, of the home; son, Mark Wigley and wife, Carolyn, of Maysville; and daughter, Janice Wigley, also of Maysville; grandchildren, Kyle, Brook, and Kash; and great-grandchildren, Emmy, Racy, Fury, Ely, and Aleigha.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, R. L. and Avis Luttrell; daughter, Ronda Wigley; brother, Terry Luttrell; and sister, Lois Jarman.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com.
