Cameron Michael Phillips

Cameron Michael Phillips was born November 14, 1988, to Michael Phillips and Retha (Levis) Gosnell in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and passed away on June 21, 2023, in Blanchard, Oklahoma, at the age of 34 years.

Cameron was a lifelong resident of Maysville. He attended Maysville Schools and graduated from Maysville High School in 2007. After graduation Cameron began working as a contract laborer. He was a welder/metal worker working for Colt at C Bar K Construction. Cameron really enjoyed his work.

Cameron liked to fish and hunt and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was quite a character. Cameron liked to make everyone laugh and enjoyed pestering and teasing those he loved. Cameron was a pretty good cook and he found enjoyment in cooking for his friends and family. Although Cameron didn’t have children of his own, he considered his dog, Hoss, his child. Cameron loved his family and he will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his father, Michael Phillips of Maysville, Oklahoma; mother, Retha Gosnell and Tony of Lindsay, Oklahoma; sisters, Keitha White and husband, Alfred, of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Odella Keith and husband, Brandon, of Lindsay, Oklahoma; brothers, Jarrod Gosnell, Jesse Gosnell and Justin Gosnell; paternal grandmother, Joyce Phillips; maternal grandmother, Barbara Levis; nieces, Ava Jane Keith and Ella Keith and Gray Lee White; nephews, Kage White, Creed White and Gambit White.

Cameron is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenneth Phillips and George Levis; great-grandparents, Joann and Odell Ritter.

Funeral services were held June 26, 2023, at The Foundation Church in Maysville, Oklahoma, with Bro. Danny Gamble and Bro. Mike Deviney officiating.

Burial will be at the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at: www.winansfuneralhome.com.
