Join the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce in celebrating our community during the annual Chamber of Commerce dinner and celebration, Tuesday, June 23. The evening is an opportunity recognize outstanding educators, local businesses and community award recipients. This year’s theme is “Pauls Valley Proud,” and suggested attire is Panther Pride. The celebration will be from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Bosa Community Center, 207 Bosa Ave., in Pauls Valley. Social hour and a silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner, speakers and awards will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door. Sponsorships are also available. Maysville Library craft day

June 24

The Maysville Public Library will host a pool noodle craft class at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 24.

Participants will make a wreath or cross using pool noodles and fabric flowers. Maysville OHCE members will teach the class and provide supplies.

The class will cost $10, and space is limited. Call or stop by the library to reserve a spot, 506 Williams St., 405-867-4748.

‘Unearth a Story’ at Nora

Sparks Warren Library this summer

The Nora Sparks Warren Library invites children and teens of all ages to participate in summer fun with “Unearth a Story,” the 2026 Collaborative Summer Library Program! The library will offer reading bingo and prizes, crafts, special performances, children’s story time and movie day during June.

The fun will continue in July with reading bingo, children’s story time, movie day, and take-and-make kits. Highlights include a visit from Mad Science and a Foam Dino Dance Party.

June events part of summer fun at Toy and Action Figure

Museum

Pauls Valley’s Toy and Action Figure Museum has several fun events in the works for the month of June.

June 13 will be Godzilla Day. Visitors can count the Godzillas in the museum and see a showing of a classic Godzilla movie at the Royal Theater in downtown Pauls Valley for just $5. June 20 will be a Toy Story Celebration, with free posters and Toy Story Pez dispensers, while supplies last. Johnny West Day is June 27. Visitors can get their photo made with a lifesize Johnny West, and a real horse and cowboy will also be present, and patrons can cap off the day with a stop at the Pauls Valley Rodeo, also set for June 27.

PV First Baptist hosting

Vacation Bible School,

June 15-18

First Baptist Church Pauls Valley is having Vacation Bible School on June 15-18, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Children from kindergarten through fifth grade are welcome. This year’s theme is Kingdom Quest. To register call 405-238-3431 or stop by the church, 213 N. Ash Street.

OHCE to host lesson on Dyes in Food, Food Substitutions,

June 18

Join the Garvin County Oklahoma Home and Community Education group Thursday, June 18 at 10 a.m., at the Nora Sparks Warren Library, 210 N. Willow St., in Pauls Valley, for their June Leader Lesson, Dyes in Food and Food Substitutions, taught by Garvin County FCS Educator Julie Selman. The 30-minute lesson is free and open to the public. Selman will talk about common food dyes, new recommendations about removing certain dyes from foods, and how to spot them on labels.

You will also learn about easy food swaps and substitutions to help you make healthier choices without giving up flavor.
