A Missoula Children’s Theatre program originally set to take place in Pauls Valley this week has been rescheduled for mid-February due to the winter weather that moved through the area over the weekend, causing dangerous road conditions and extended school closures.
The traveling residency program, which stages a full musical production from auditions to performances with a cast of local students in the span of a week, has been reset for the week of Feb. 16-21. The new date has also caused a change in which show will be performed. The program will now be casting roles for “Sleeping Beauty.”
Open auditions for students in the Pauls Valley and Whitebead school districts will be Monday, Feb. 16, from 3:45-5:45 p.m. at the Bosa Community Center, 207 Bosa Ave.
Public performances will be Friday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. at the Pauls Valley High School Auditorium.
