Danny Lee Frazee, of Pauls Valley, passed away Nov. 2, 2024, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 68 years. Danny was born June 9, 1956, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Vance Milton and Alice May (Hopper) Frazee. He grew up moving with his family across several states before he came into adulthood in Elmore City, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Elmore City High School in 1974. In 1976, he moved to Pauls Valley, where he married the love of his life, Tammy Huckabaa. They were married at Beaty Baptist Church in the Beaty Community near Pauls Valley on July 9 of that year. He was a mechanic who loved to work on cars nearly as much as he loved to serve his community. For years he ran DF Texaco Service Station on South Chickasaw Street and later owned and operated DF Exhaust & Brakes on the corner of South Chickasaw and Lee Street. His dedication to the community also extended to his service with the Rush Creek Fire Department, where he served as a board member for over 10 years and assisted with fleet service and maintenance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vance M. and Alice M. Frazee; one brother, Junior Frazee; two sisters, Sally Stone and Joy Wolfe; and one son-in-law, Billy Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Tammy Huckabaa Frazee; their children, Jamie and Danny Tinnie, Kari Beth Smith and Chace Miller, and Dustin Frazee and Tacara Corley; four grandchildren, Carrson and Salynn French, Makenna French, Makayla French, and Rogan Smith; a great-granddaughter who is due to arrive in April 2025; one brother, Doug Frazee; and one sister, Sherry Savage; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
