The Lindsay Chamber of Commerce is asking for specific non-perishable food items to help “Drive Hunger Out of Lindsay.” The effort will allow the Chamber to give families a meal, as food is available.
Food items should be shelf stable and things that can be used to make a minimal meal. Items will be collected the first week of every month from 4-6 p.m. in a drive-thru drop off at the Chamber, 107 N. Main St., in Lindsay.
The program will be voucher based, with vouchers placed in Blessing Boxes in town. One voucher per week will be redeemable per family/person.
