Pickle in the Park, the Pauls Valley Tennis and Racquet Association’s annual pickleball tournament, will be Saturday at Wacker Park, starting at 8 a.m.
The doubles-only tournament will be divided into men’s, women’s and mixed divisions. Skill and age divisions will be open, recreational, senior (60+) and youth (14 and under).
Registration for playing in the tournament is at www.pvtra.square.site. The open division will register through SWISH at the link on the PVTRA site.
Entry fees are open $80, recreational/senior $50 and youth $30.
The additional pickle-eating competition will start at noon with both youth and adult divisions. There is no entry fee for the pickle-eating competition.
A free community lunch of barbecue sandwiches will be provided by Punkin’s.
