Artists of all ages gathered to enter work for the first-ever Brickfest art contests, sponsored by the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce, during Saturday’s Brickfest in downtown Pauls Valley.
Children in kindergarten through third grade competed for top honors in the coloring contest, while youth 21 and under entered original work representing the theme, “What Pauls Valley means to me.”
Community members of all ages were eligible to compete in the Community T-Shirt Design contest, offering their ideas for a design that could adorn or inspire the 2027 Brickfest t-shirt.
Coloring contest prizes included first thru third place ribbons and art supplies, with the youth and community categories offering first thru third place medals and a $100 gift card for first place.
