Gentri Condit batted in all five Elmore City-Pernell runs in the team’s 8-5 loss against Alex.
In the bottom of the first, Condit hit a fly ball to left field, gaining two bases and batting in Brelee Patterson and Ariyah Ford.
In the bottom of the fourth, Condit hit a fly ball to center field for a home run. The play batted in Layla Frazier and Patterson, in addition to herself.
Haley Bennett pitched the loss, striking out four and walking one.
The Ninnekah Tournament, scheduled for Aug. 20-22, was cancelled due to the extreme heat.
The Lady Badgers will host Central Monday and go to Alex Tuesday. They will head to the Maysville Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
