Maysville
The Lady Warriors began their season Tuesday with a doubleheader against the Dibble Lady Demons.
They lost the first game 13-8. Avery Riley had three hits, including batting in a run in the third inning and hitting a triple in the fifth inning.
The Lady Warriors lost the second game 11-3. Allison Sanders and Jolie Summers each had two hits, and Riley, Claire Mann and Aubry Clouse drove in runs.
Maysville played again Thursday (after press time) at Bray-Doyle. They will head to Alex at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
BASEBALL
Pauls Valley
The Panthers began their season Monday with a doubleheader at Tuttle. They scored no runs, losing 15-0 and 10-0.
Stratford
The Bulldogs won 12-0 against Alex on Tuesday.
Brody Hallmark earned the win on the mound, allowing only one hit and zero runs in three innnings and striking out eight.
The Bulldogs will host Konowa at 6:30 p.m. Friday and host Wayne 6:30 p.m. Monday.
