The Elmore City-Pernell Badgers are set to play their first game of the season at home against the OKC Patriots Friday night.
The Patriots, a homeschool football program, are a substitution in the Badgers’ schedule, made after a last-minute cancellation by Konawa.
“We were in a scramble to try and find someone to play against,” said Badgers head football coach Larry Lewis.
