PVJH names May students of the month

Pauls Valley Junior High recently announced the names of students honored as students of the month for May. The honorees include freshmen Colton Brown and Lily Rowland, eighth graders Aleks Nunez and Melany Balderrama, and seventh graders Jesus Ramirez-Arellano and Emily Morrison.

Brown is the son of Ricky and Kristen Brown.

His biggest goal in life is to go into entertainment of some sort with plans for the future that include getting a driver’s license and a job.

His favorite school subject is history.

Rowland is the daughter of Jeff and Micki Rowland.

Her biggest goal in life is to play college softball with future plans that include becoming an ultrasound technician and having kids.

Her favorite subject in school is English.

Nunez is the son of Jr and Cindy Nunez. His biggest goal in life is to be close to God with plans for the future that include playing soccer. His favorite school subject is math.

Balderrama is the daughter of Lupe and Edith Balderrama. Her biggest goal in life is to be happy and have peace with future plans that include having a job that she enjoys and staying with people that she loves. Her favorite school subject is English.

Ramirez-Arellano is the son of Jose Ramirez Sr. and Elizabeth Arellano. His biggest goal in life is to become an OU Meteorologist with plans of working for the National Weather Service and attending college. His favorite subject in school is science.

Morrison is the daughter of Kendal and Melna Morrison. Her biggest life goal is to have a family reunion. Morrison’s plans for the future are to make dresses. Her favorite subject in school is science, and she is active in the band.
