South Central Medical and Resource Center staff, state legislators, city officials and community members gathered for a ribbon cutting Friday to mark the opening of a new SCMRC clinic at 200 Melville Dr. in Pauls Valley.
SCMRC is a Community Health Center with the primary goal of providing health care services to the medically underserved populations living in Garvin, McClain and Grady counties. The clinic has four bilingual staff members, including personnel at the front desk and a nurse practitioner, to better assist those who may face language barriers while seeking healthcare. It will also offer a variety of services including full-service family practice, laboratory services, and behavioral health.
Hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays.
