Slow-pitch softball teams played district games throughout the week.
Wynnewood played Tuesday at Coalgate in Class 4A District 9. First, the Lady Savages won 8-2 over Dibble. Then, they lost twice to Coalgate, 10-0 and 7-3. The Wildcats will advance to the state tournament.
Maysville/Paoli competed on Wednesday in Class 3A District 4 at Apache. The Lady Warriors lost 16-6 to Healdton and then lost 14-0 to Apache.
On Thursday, after press time, No. 16 Stratford hosted Class 4A District 16, and Vanoss played in Class 3A District 13 at Fletcher.
