The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry funds a program to collect and properly dispose of unwanted pesticides that applicators, farmers or citizens may have and need disposed of properly. ODAFF will have three Unwanted Pesticides Disposal Collections this spring in Sallisaw, Chandler and Cheyenne.
The dates are:
- April 28 at the Sequoyah County Fairgrounds in Sallisaw
- April 29 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Chandler
- April 30 at the Roger Mills County Fairgrounds in Cheyenne
These are available to anyone in the state. The collections will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all locations. More information is available on the Unwanted Pesticide Disposal website at extension.okstate.edu/programs/pesticide-safety-education/unwanted-pesticide-disposal-program/index.html.
