PV Junior High names January Students of the Month

Pauls Valley Junior High kicked off 2026 by honoring Pauls Valley Junior High January Students of the Month. These students demonstrated that a new year isn't just about resolutions; it’s about a continued commitment to excellence within their school.

The PVJH January Students of the Month are freshmen, Alonzo Macario and Rosalie Daves; eighth-graders, Levi Grounds and Rielyn White; and seventh-graders, Braxton Breakfield and Sophie Watson.

Macario, is the son of Diana M. and Kolby C. His biggest goal in life is to get his own place to live and be somewhat successful. His favorite subject is Biology I, and he is involved in the PV Band.

Daves, is the daughter of Jose Millan and Elizabeth Millan. Her biggest goal in life is to become a better person, and her future plans are to graduate college, start a job she loves, continue to pursue what she likes and stick to God’s plan. Her favorite subject in school is Biology I. Her extracurricular activities are powerlifting, band, and track.

Grounds, is the son of Greg and Jenn Grounds.

His biggest goal in life is to get a good job, and his future plans are to make money. His favorite subject is math. His hobby is photography, and his extracurricular activities include the PVJH Academic Team, PVJH Tech Team, photography and the PVJH Newspaper.

White, is the daughter of Cierra and Jason Wells. Her biggest goal in life is to win State at wrestling, and her plans for the future include having a kid and building a house. Her hobbies include wrestling, running, and riding horses, and she is involved in the school wrestling program.

Breakfield, is the son of Jason and Brandi Breakfield. His biggest goal in life and future plan is to go “pro” in soccer. His favorite subject in school is math. His hobbies include soccer and Fortnite.

Watson, is the daughter of Jeremy and Amy Watson. Her biggest goal in life is to get better at sports, and her future plans are to keep her grades at an “A” every year. Her favorite subject is geography, and her hobbies are reading and drawing. Sophie is very involved at school, as evident in the fact that she is on the basketball team, track team, cross country team, and cheer-Oklahoma leading squad.
