Barbara Ann Jensen was born November 9, 1937, in Antioch, Oklahoma, to Leslie and Jaunita (Johns) McCaleb and passed away April 2, 2025 in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years. Barbara was a lifelong resident of the Antioch area. She married Jesse Jensen on August 25, 1956. Barbara was a former hairdresser and was a department manager for Wal-Mart. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing and working in the yard. Barbara was a member of East Side Holiness Church. Barbara considered going to church her most important activity and her church family was a special part of her family. Barbara will be dearly missed.
Barbara is survived by son, Jesse Micheal Jensen and wife Kristi of Antioch, Oklahoma; daughter Leslie Statton and husband Fred, of Antioch, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Jeremy Jensen and wife Renee, Laine Ramsey and husband Chris, Maggie Gannon and husband Ryan, and Jaci Statton and husband Dustin; and eight great grandchildren: Jarrett Jensen, Morgan Jensen, Ainsley Gannon, Wyatt Gannon, Lylly Williams, Drake Williams, Mackenzie Statton and Aidyn Statton.
Barbara is proceeded in death by her husband, Jesse Jensen; parents, Leslie and Jaunita McCaleb; son, Greg Jensen; brothers, Terry McCaleb and Leslie McCaleb Jr.; sister, Betty Jacques; and great-granddaughter, Sadie Ramsey.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at East Side Holiness Church in Maysville, Oklahoma. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at winansfuneralhome.com.
