Scout lesson a work in process

BSA scouts from Pauls Valley's Troop 73 learned how to process a deer over Christmas break. Michael Roberts and John Williams provided the deer and worked with the scouts to skin, cut up and process the deer. The scouts ran a meat grinder and learned how to mix the meat with other ingredients and about curing the meat. They finished the lesson by making summer sausage with the meat.
