Garvin County Free Fair starts Aug. 24

The 2024 Garvin County Free Fair gets underway next weekend at the Garvin County Fairgrounds in Pauls Valley.

Fairgoers will see a couple of scheduling and venue changes at this year’s fair, which runs Aug. 24-30.

Due to ongoing renovations to the fairgrounds building that normally houses the indoor open class and 4-H exhibits, those projects will be relocated from the fairgrounds to the Pauls Valley Arts Council Building at 220 W. Paul Ave. All other fair events will remain at the fairgrounds.

The fair’s fun-filled and activity-packed Family Day, which normally happens near the end of the fair’s run, will also enjoy a new time slot, kicking off this year’s Free Fair Saturday, Aug. 24, with a wide assortment of activities and contests.
