Authorities are investigating a double homicide, after two bodies were discovered in a home southwest of Wynnewood Friday morning.
Garvin County deputies responded to a call for a welfare check at a residence near Indian Meridian Road and East County Road 1680 around 9:30 Friday morning.
When they arrived they discovered a deceased man and woman inside the home.
The Garvin County Sheriff’s Office has requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to assist with the investigation.
The two individuals were transported to the Office of the Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner for identification and to determine a cause and manner of death.
At this time, there are no suspects, according to a statement released Friday evening by the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office and OSBI.
