Maysville’s high school archery team finished out their season with a trip to Sandy, Utah, to compete in the 2024 NASP Western Nationals April 25-26.
The team finished fourth of 18 teams competing in the 2024 Centershot Western National Tournament - IBO 3D Challenge. They also finished in fourth place out of 21 teams competing in the 2024 Centershot Western National Bullseye Championship.
“Fourth in the nation as a small town school is a huge achievement. We are so proud of them,” sponsor Kacee Uhles said. “These students had a wonderful experience traveling to Utah and back. They are so appreciative of everyone that donated to help send them to Nationals and want to say a special thank you to all who have supported them.”
The national competition was the first for Maysville’s archery team, which is only in its second year of competition.
