Lindsay named ‘Purple Heart City’

    The Lindsay City Council approved a proclamation declaring Lindsay a ‘Purple Heart City’ during a special meeting on Dec. 16. The Purple Heart is the nation’s oldest military decoration, and it is awarded to service members who have been killed or wounded as a result of enemy action.
