Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits and live shad in coves, discharge and river channel. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, discharge and river channel. Fishing this week has been good. Striped bass good on flukes, live shad, plastic baits, sassy shad and slabs below the dam, along channels, flats, main lake, points and river channel. Striper fishing has been very good this week. Dead sticking has been great this week for stripers. Blue, channel and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, goldfish, live shad, punch bait, stinkbait and sunfish below the dam, along channels, coves, creek channels, docks, main lake, points and river channel. Blue cats are being caught on juglines and rod-and-reel on live shad and punch bait pretty well in 20-45 ft. of water. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows and small lures around brush structure, coves, docks and standing timber. Crappie are biting on jigs with PowerBait. It is getting better every week.
