Pauls Valley rolls out odd-even watering schedule

The City of Pauls Valley announced Wednesday it is reducing recent restrictions on outdoor watering. Residents who need to water lawns or gardens will now be allowed to do so on an odd-even schedule based on address.

Under the new provision, even-numbered addresses should water on even-numbered calendar days and odd-numbered addresses on odd-numbered calendar days.

Residents are still asked to conserve water whenever possible and avoid unnecessary or excessive water use.

City officials said while the water system conditions have improved, the city is continuing to monitor water production and system conditions as maintenance, repairs and improvements at the water treatment plant are ongoing.
