Local residents filled sandbags at the PV Fire Station Wednesday afternoon as they prepared to protect their homes and businesses against potential flooding as rivers and creeks in the area were forecast to reach flood stage following heavy rainfall this week.
State Rep. Cindy Roe and Sen. Jonathan Wingard were in Pauls Valley April 25 to meet with constituents and give a brief update on legislation working through the House and Senate this session. The luncheon was hosted by the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Rush Creek in Pauls Valley was also nearing the top if its banks Wednesday morning following record rainfall in the area over the last two weeks.
