Pauls Valley was featured on News9’s Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch for Pep Rally Friday this week, as the Panthers went up against the Kingfisher Yellowjackets to see which school had the most spirit ahead of tonight’s football game between the two teams at Pauls Valley’s Thompson Field.
Portions of district-wide pep rallies for both schools were broadcast live on News9 during the 9 a.m. program, with viewers and community members encouraged to vote for their favorite team on News9’s social media. Pauls Valley won the spirit competition with 1,200 Panther votes, compared to Kingfisher’s 800 vote tally.
