New elementary school library named in honor of Rita Millard

The library will allow Rita Millard's passion for encouraging young readers to continue to be realized for years to come.     Family and friends of the late Rita Millard gathered last Friday to formally dedicate the Rita Millard Memorial Library at Pauls Valley Elementary School. Rita was an avid reader with a passion for helping children learn to read. She held a master’s degree in elementary education and served as a reading specialist for Pauls Valley schools.
