Highway 19 was closed near County Road 3280 east of Pauls Valley (near five-mile curve) for over an hour Friday afternoon due to an overturned semitrailer.
Traffic was rerouted onto CR 1540 and CR 3280 as emergency crews worked to clear the highway.
The cause of the accident, which occurred shortly after 1 p.m., is still being investigated, according to Sheriff Jim Mullett. The driver of the semitrailer was uninjured and no other vehicles were involved.
The trailer was carrying 35,000 pounds of frozen food and produce, Mullett said.
The highway was reopened just after 3 p.m. according to information from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
