City council approves move to town board of trustees to eliminate city wards
The Elmore City City Council approved a resolution during the Oct. 13 regular meeting signaling their intention to put a proposed change in the city’s form of government to voters in April of 2027.
The measure would ask voters to decide whether to change the current aldermanic form of government to a town board of trustees form.
