Maysville’s Abby McHugh placed second in the Class 1A 100-meter hurdles and fifth overall in the 300-meter hurdles at the Regional Track meet held in Stroud last Saturday. McHugh’s placement qualifies her for State in both races. The 100-meter & 300-meter hurdle preliminaries will be held Friday at Western Heights in OKC. By Rochelle Ward

Pauls Valley High School girls win fourth meet of the season at Atoka
Oklahoma State University’s equestrian program won their first NCEA National Championship in Ocala, Florida, Saturday. Stratford’s JoJo Roberson was among OSU’s equestrian athletes who competed in Saturday’s National Championship competition. Roberson’s sister, June Roberson, has signed with the team and is expected to join the roster this fall. The OSU equestrian team roster also includes freshman Lydia Bell of Maysville.
