Stratford Lady Bulldogs blank Maysville 7-0 in season opener

Stratford’s Kennedy Layton put on a pitching show Monday evening against Maysville. The pitcher struck out 11 batters and only walked three. Layton allowed only two hits in five innings pitched.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a hot start scoring two runs in the first inning and two more in the second inning for a 4-0 score. Stratford’s Ryleigh Ardery hit three singles in the game, scoring two runs.
