Panthers fall to Leopards 36-66

Lindsay’s Creed Taylor hit six three-pointers as he scored 31 total points and led the Leopards to a 66-36 victory over Pauls Valley.

Carter Hicks scored a left-handed layup that put the Panthers up 2-1 in the first. Pauls Valley never led again, but Hicks went on to lead the team with 13 points.

By the end of the first quarter, Lindsay had extended its lead to 21-7. By halftime, the Leopards were up 31-16. The third quarter ended at 47-26.

Panthers’ Brody Brown went 5 for 6 at the freethrow line, and the team made 66% of its free throws.

In addition to Taylor’s 31 points, Lindsay’s Armando Hernandez had 7, Hunter Russell 7, Gus Torres 7, Isaac Cameron 4, Zac Howie 3, Reid Dorman 3, Mav Dodson 2, and Tugh Faught 2.

Pauls Valley scorers were Hicks with 13, Brown with 7, Colby Barrett 4, Reg Patton 4, Amahri Jackson 4, Cayden Wood 4, and Ethan Holloway 2.
