Lindsay Boys
It’s said that playoffs put everyone back at 0-0, which means the #8 Lindsay Leopards are back to being undefeated.
“This has been a good fresh start,” said head coach Tim Boyer after the Leopards sealed the District Championship Friday.
Lindsay had no trouble with Comanche, beating the Indians 78-27.
“We brought a lot of energy, and we played really well,” sophomore Cade Williams said.
Williams came in off the bench in the fourth quarter and scored his first varsity three-pointer and second field goal as the buzzer sounded.
“I was running down, and Reid (Dorman) had already hit four (three-pointers),” Williams said. “He threw it to me, and then I made it.”
The Leopards followed that win up with a 42-29 victory Tuesday over Washington, a team they split with during the regular season.
Lindsay will now advance to the Regional Championship, where they will play Kingston at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Washington. Both teams will advance to the Area Tournament March 5-7.

The growth we have taken is key for us to have a successful playoff run.”
They advanced to Regionals to play #1 Washington on Tuesday and lost 77-9.
Lindsay will drop to the consolation bracket and play the Marietta-Hugo winner at 1 p.m.
