Stratford football honored its seniors Nov. 7 during the final game of the season. Seniors are Lincoln Hall, Kelyn Dickerson, Braxton Bear, Caleb Morgan, Talen Ross and Gavin Green.
"We have a great group of seniors that are not only good football players, but exceptional young men," Coach Michael Blackburn said. "They play very hard, and they play with a lot of heart."
Despite snatching three interceptions, the Bulldogs lost to Frederick 33-0.
"I thought we competed really hard tonight against a very talented Frederick team," Blackburn said.
Braxton Murray, Zane Harrod and Joseph Smith grabbed the interceptions. Bear and Dickerson each had 10 tackles, Smith had 8 tackles, and Green had 5 tackles.
On offense, Smith led the team with 82 yards rushing and 10 yards receiving. Dax Ross had 26 yards receiving and 8 yards rushing. Bear had 20 yards receiving and 2 yards rushing. Quarterback Gavin Haskins passed for 70 yards and rushed for 2 yards.
