The Garvin County Disc Golf Association has begun hosting mini tournaments at area courses.
Seth Potts won Saturday’s mini at the Lakeside Disc Golf Course in Elmore City. In the Closest-to-the-Pin Contest, Stephen Cunningham won Hole 6, and Cody Cunningham won Hole 9.
“The wind was definitely a factor today at Lakeside, but that didn’t stop our players from getting out and competing,” said Tyler Johnson, GCDGA founder.
The organization also had a mini at the Lindsay Disc Golf Course on June 6.
“Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Garvin County Disc Golf Association,” Johnson said. “We appreciate each and every player who continues to help grow the sport in our community.”
