Winter weather scrambles basketball schedule
Note: Schedules listed are accurate as of press time on Wednesday but still subject to changes depending on the weather.
Elmore City-Pernell
In the Bulldog Bash, the Badgers (7-10, Class A) lost 54-43 to Marietta (8-9, Class 3A) and lost 68-67 in overtime to Healdton (4-11, Class A). The final round of the tournament was cancelled due to weather.
ECP is scheduled to play at Ringling (7-8, Class B1) Friday.
Homecoming activities have been rescheduled for Tuesday’s game against Velma-Alma (16-1, #7 in Class A).
Lindsay
The Leopards (15-1) dropped to #8 in Class 3A.
In the Bobby Hicks Invitational Tournament in Little Axe, they won 71-33 against the U.S. Grant JV team.
Lindsay will play in the semifinals against the home team, Little Axe (8-7, Class 3A), at 4 p.m. Saturday. The other semifinals game is Christian Heritage Academy (6-9, #11 in Class 2A) vs. Harding Charter (11-6, #20 in Class 4A). The winners will play for the championship at 6 p.m. Wednesday, and the losers will play for third place at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Lindsay will host Pauls Valley (2-15, Class 4A) on Friday and host Marlow (10-6, Class 3A) on Tuesday.
Maysville
The Warriors (1-13, Class B2) will play at Alex (4-12, Class A) on Thursday and host Mill Creek (14-5, #12 in Class B2) Feb. 5.
Paoli
At the Bowlegs Tournament, the Pugs (1-8, Class B2) lost to both Konowa (5-9, Class 2A) and Graham-Dustin (10-10, Class B2).
Paoli will play at Oklahoma School for the Deaf (8-3, Class B2) Monday.
Pauls Valley
At the Wampus Cat Classic in Atoka, the Panthers (2-15, Class 4A) lost 72-48 to Ardmore (13-4, #16 in Class 4A) and lost 70-45 to Madill (6-10, Class 4A).
Pauls Valley will go to Lindsay (15-1 #8 in Class 3A).
Stratford
At the SRT Tournament in Stonewall, the Bulldogs (11-6, Class 2A) won 75-71 against Maud (6-9, Class B2) and won 60-59 in overtime against the home team Stonewall (10-9, Class B1).
The game against Wynnewood (12-4, Class 2A) has been postponed to Feb. 14.
Stratford will host Vanoss (14-3, #4 in Class 2A) and host Roff (7-13, Class B1) on Tuesday.
Wynnewood
At the Bulldog Bash in Healdton, the Savages (12-4, Class 2A) won 65-39 against Turner (5-14, Class B1) and won 64-53 against Wilson (13-4, #19 in Class A). The final round of the tournament was cancelled due to weather.
The game at Stratford (11-6, Class 2A) has been rescheduled for Feb. 14.
Wynnewood will host Dibble (7-10, Class 2A) Friday, go to Davis (1-13, Class 3A) on Saturday and go to Comanche (7-9, Class 3A) Tuesday.
