The 2025 Mia Tapia Memorial Softball Tournament got underway Friday at Pauls Valley’s Wacker Park and will continue through Saturday.
In the first round of double-elimination play Friday, Kingfisher won against Ardmore, 10-0; Marlow beat Madill, 12-1; Dickson won out over Marietta, 10-0; and Pauls Valley beat Western Heights, 8-2.
In the second round of the winner’s bracket, Marlow took on Kingfisher, winning 6-5, and Dickson met Pauls Valley, with Dickson coming out on top, 17-3.
In the second round loser’s bracket, Madill beat Ardmore 14-5 and Western Heights took out Marietta, 5-2.
Saturday’s play will get underway at 9 a.m. with Pauls Valley taking on Madill in the third round loser’s bracket. Western Heights will play Kingfisher, with game time scheduled for 10:15 a.m., and Marlow will face off against Dickson, with game time scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
