Tim Harrison, of Stratford, Oklahoma, was born along with his twin brother, Tom, on September 24, 1954, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, to Harley Harrison and Mildred (Nail) Harrison. He passed away at his home north of Stratford on November 15, 2022, at the age of 68 years, one month and twenty-one days.
Tim grew up in the Vanoss area and attended school there. He worked for PEC and the Chickasaw Nation. He married Betty (Barton) Smith and they made their home north of Stratford.
Tim is preceded by his father, Harley Harrison; mother, Mildred, and step-father, George Nail; wife, Betty; and twin brother, Tommy.
He is survived by two sons, Tommy and Billy Harrison, both of Texas; two step-sons, Josh Wood and Branum Dempsey and wife, Elizabeth, all of Stratford; one sister, Kathy Porter and husband, John; one step-sister, Debbie Nail, all of Ada; one grandson; one nephew, Brian Cannon and wife, Bre; and one great-nephew, Cody Cannon.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2022, in DeArman/Pickard Chapel, Stratford, Oklahoma, with Rev. Lewis Perry officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brian Cannon, Josh Wood, Patrick Hook, Colton Dempsey, James Qualls, and Rob Hatter.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada, Oklahoma.
