Royce Lee Holland

On November 3, 1946, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Royce Lee Holland was born to P. Q. and Warnde (Scarbrough) Holland. He passed from this life on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the age of 75 years. Royce was a longtime resident of Maysville. He served his country in the U. S. Army where he was honored with the Basic Missilemans Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Expert, and Marksman. He married Barbara Sue Haley on October 8, 1982, in Gainesville, Texas, and they were married for 34 years at the time of her passing in 2017. Royce worked as a roustabout for Shebester Well Service and was a Garvin County District 1 worker until he retired. Royce loved his family and pulling pranks on them. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed working on cars, mowers, and in general just taking things apart and putting them back together. Royce will be greatly missed by his family and friends, His survivors include daughters, Leeann Keenom of PaulsValley, Oklahoma, Pam Mitchell of Paoli, Oklahoma, Susan Spears and husband, Eric, of Purcell, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Jim Webster and wife, Lora, of Maysville; grandchildren, Shelly Pender, Kim Webster, James Webster, Rusty Webster, Eric Spears, Matt Spears, Cary Spears, Amber Jones, Emily, Tyler, Loren, and Caleb, and numerous great-grandchildren; nephews, Brad, Scotty, and Mark Webster; and niece, Mona Sullivan.

Royce was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Holland; sister, Barbara Webster; brother, Tommy Holland; daughter, Lori Webster; and nephew, John Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022, at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, with Bro. Tim Carr officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of John W.
