Linda Ann Goad (Parrish) was born April 8, 1948, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, to Milford Howard Parrish and Bonnie Mildred Luster (Dean). Linda passed from this life on October 27, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Linda grew up and graduated from Maysville High School in 1966, and went on to attend Mid-America Vo-Tech to obtain her Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Medical Assistant license. She practiced in the home health field until she retired. Linda worked at Lawson’s Nursing Home for the majority of her career and the one thing you could always count on was Linda was going to know what each resident had on their plate. Linda loved to cook. Her family said that she made the best egg custard ever. Linda was known for just simply having a pure talent for cooking things like beets, fruit cake, and even made some for her dear friend Dr. Bethel. Some of the highlights of Linda’s life weren’t memories, but people, she loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own children. Linda spent a lot of her time being a stay-at-home aunt in order to help her sister out with the kids and you could tell she loved that job more than any other. Linda will be missed by so many people.
