LaJuana (Kris) Raines Clements, of Gunnison, Colorado, was born March 28, 1947, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to John and Helen Raines, and passed away September 30, 2021, at the age of 74 years.
Kris graduated from Lindsay High School and then attended Central State College, in Edmond, Oklahoma, where she met Rodger Clements on a blind date. They were married June 10, 1967, in Edmond, and celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary earlier this year.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Raines.
Survivors include her husband, Rodger; daughter, Laura Stone and husband, Ryan, who travel the country in their 5th Wheel with home base in Cheney, Washington; one grandcat; and many cousins, family members and close friends across Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life is planned for next spring.
