Kathy Lynn McHugh was born June 23, 1957, to John M. And Betty Lou McHugh (Pitcher) and passed away on July 23, 2023, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years. Kathy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She came from a large family being the seventh of eight children. Kathy spent 25 years in Indiana, before moving to Oklahoma. She had formerly worked at Kellwood and McCaskill Nursing Home. Kathy could often be found watching television and she enjoyed spending time with her dog, Popeye. He was her favorite companion. Kathy also loved her family and spending time with them. Survivors include brother, Moe McHugh and wife, Twana of Maysville, Oklahoma; sister, Connie Burton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Lou McHugh; brothers, Tommy McHugh and Danny McHugh; and sisters, Shirley McHugh, Jean Helms and Linda White.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, July 29, 2023, graveside at the Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Oklahoma, under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com.
