Jamie Dawn Davis Akerman, of Maysville, Oklahoma, was born November 21, 1978, in Purcell, Oklahoma, to Jerry Davis and Donna (Lewis) Davis Dover. She passed away at the age of 43 years on Saturday, July 23, 2022, near Maysville due to a tragic accident.
Jamie grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico, before moving to Maysville at the age of 14 years where she attended Maysville High School. She loved her children and spending time with them and other family members. She liked taking long baths, putting on makeup, and fixing her hair. Jamie enjoyed going to the casinos, watching the Lifetime Channel movies, music, coloring books, and decorating. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Her survivors include her children, Ethan Akerman, Brynlee, Gavin, and Phoenix Zumhof; brother, Gene Dover, Jr.; sister, Rachel Davis; aunt, Patty Lawson; uncle, Ronnie Lewis and wife, Penny; cousins, Sherry Brown, Kathy Caldwell, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Jamie was preceded in death by her mother and dad, Donna Dover and Jerry Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, Maysville, with Bro. Mike Deviney officiating.
