George Ann Jarman

George Ann Jarman, beloved wife, mama, nana, sister, aunt, friend, departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the age of 77 years.

George Ann was born February 3, 1945, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Gentry "GP" and Gladys Hatton. George Ann was the third child of GP and Gladys. Her daddy said she would be George regardless of if she was a boy or girl because her two grandfathers were George.

George Ann graduated from Stonewall High School as the valedictorian in 1963. She married Rick Steen Johnson November 28, 1964. Together they had two of her children, Randall Johnson and Lisa Driskill. They lived in Midwest City, Perkins and Ada. In Ada, she worked for the Ada Police Department as dispatcher in the mid 70s. On June 26, 1987, she married Ron Jarman, and they made their home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, later moving to Antlers and Purcell, Oklahoma. Ron's children, Toni and Betsey, became George Ann's "other children,'' as she loved them as her own.

In Pauls Valley, she worked at numerous businesses and churches including helping her husband run businesses and being a Power Seller and Top Rated Seller on eBay for many years. She loved attending estate sales and garage sales to support her eBay sales.

George Ann is survived by her loving husband of the home, Ron; four loving children; and nine loving grandchildren, Randall Johnson, and his son, Robert Johnson, Lisa Driskill and her husband, Kevin, Lisa’s children, Nathan Kemper, Jeremy Kemper and wife, Hannah, Grace Farnan and husband, Shannon, and Seth Kemper and wife, Taryn, Betsey Niece and husband, Dusty, and their children, Kylie and Trevin; Toni Servati and husband, Tim, and their children, Colton and Tucker; and by five loved great-grandbabies.

She is also survived by siblings, Eva Lou Heffington and husband, Wendyl, of Van Buren, Arkansas, Glendel Hatton and wife, Paula, of Ada, and Bobbie Culp and husband, Larry, of Texas; and by many adoring nieces and nephews, Kelli, Shelly, David, Greg, Kim, Jenny, D’Et, Kerri, Michael and Joseph Warren. Preceding her in death were her parents, GP and Gladys Hatton; brother, Jerry;

A memorial service to celebrate George Ann's life will be held at Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Monday, July 18, at 10 a.m.
