Fred Robert Williams was born January 22, 1940, to Frank and Vergie (Crump) Williams and passed away May 29, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years.
Fred was a graduate of Hughes High School. He owned and operated his own company inspecting transmission lines and sub stations for western farmers and other power companies. Fred loved old cars and collecting classic muscle cars. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. Fred loved his family and he cherished the times they spent together. His dogs were his companion and were a special part of his family.
Fred will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Fred is survived by his son, Rob Williams, of Lindsay, Oklahoma; brother, Stanley Williams and Cathy of Colorado; sister, Janie Willingham; grandchildren, Chastine Williams of Dibble, Oklahoma, Trent England and Cindy of Maysville, Oklahoma, Joshua Harris and Carol of Dibble and Derrick Harris and Marissa also of Dibble; great-grandchildren, Jestin, Tripp, Macee, Ryleigh, Savannah, Tytan, and Brody; dogs (his four-legged kids), CJ and Crager; and dearly loved family friend, Linda Harville.
He is preceded by his parents, Frank and Vergie Williams; daughter, Crystal Harris; brothers, Kenneth Williams and Curtis Williams; and sisters, Cledith Forkner Hamilton and Carolyn Henderson.
Funeral Services were held Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Winans Funeral Home Chapel in Maysville, Oklahoma. Burial followed at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma, under the direction of John W.
