Some of the highlights of her life were watching Johnny race cars, going to Shon’s baseball games, leading the youth at Beaty Baptist Church, going coon hunting with the family, going to estate sales with her daughter-in-law, Tammie, and taking Presley all over the country to compete in gymnastics and cheerleading.
She loved playing dominoes and board games with her great-grandchildren and cooking beans and crackling cornbread for them. Although these were highlights of her life, she was a highlight of the great-grandchildren’s lives. The great-grandchildren always told Meme that “she was famous and should put in a shop for making beans and cornbread and cakes.”
A memorial service for Jeanette is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2022, at Beaty Baptist Church. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. You may send words of comfort to the family at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com.
